TRANSACTIONS: Signed with the Rams as an undrafted rookie free agent (5/12/14).

2014 SEASON: Saw action in six games...vs. Dallas (9/21): Made his NFL debut...saw action on special teams...at San Diego (11/23): Saw action on offense and on special teams...recovered a fumble after WR Keenan Allen muffed a punt.

COLLEGE: Third team all-MAC as a senior following a season in which he played in all 14 games and caught 37 passes for 593 yards and four touchdowns...also blocked for the most successful running back in school history, as Travis Greene set the school record with 1,594 rushing yards...had a season high seven catches for 124 yards in the MAC Championship game against Northern Illinois...played in the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla. following the season...as a junior, recorded 36 receptions for 410 yards and three touchdowns.

PERSONAL: A 2009 graduate of Pickerington North High School...coached by Tom Phillips...had six school records, including 50 receptions for 625 yards and two touchdowns his senior season, where he earned honorable mention all-state...also earned first- team All-OCC and first-team all-central district...Ohio Magazine ranked him as the 60th recruit and third-best tight end from the state of Ohio...ranked in the top-75 tight ends in the nation by ESPN.com...team captain...also lettered in baseball...Son of Ron and Sandy Bayer...has one brother and one sister...majored in human development and family studies...participated in numerous community events, including the 6th Annual Playground Build at Marygrove, Kickoff for Charity Luncheon to benefit United Way and the St. Louis Rams Training Academy Youth Football Camp.
