fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interceptions…his 38 career tackles for
loss tied Mike Rucker (1995-99) for sixth on the University of Nebraska’s
all-time list…tallied 45 tackles (23 solo), 6.0 sacks and 17 tackles for loss as
a senior in 2006…started all 12 games and posted 37 tackles, 3.0 sacks, three
forced fumbles and 14 tackles for loss as a junior in 2005…honored as Nebraska’s
Most Improved Defensive Players as a sophomore in 2004…finished sophomore year
with 21 tackles (11 solo), 3.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced
fumble…did not see action as a redshirt freshman in 2003…redshirted in

Played tailback and defensive end at Elkhorn
(Neb.) High School…member of the Omaha World-Herald’s Super Six team as
he registered 92 carries for 822 yards (8.9 avg.) and scored 16 touchdowns in
five games…rushed for 1,742 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2000.
