State, including 26 at right cornerback…saw action on both sides of the ball,
serving as a cornerback on defense and as a wide receiver on offense…also saw
action on special teams as a returner and gunner…recorded 90 tackles (67 solo),
23 passes defensed and three interceptions…rushed 18 times for 227 yards and
caught 10 passes for 126 yards with two touchdowns…as a senior earned first-team
All-Big Ten honors after starting 13 games at right cornerback…ranked 12th in
the country and second in the Big Ten with 17 passes defensed...earned 3.0 GPA
and graduated with a degree from the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at
Penn State.

Born Justin Thomas King in Pittsburgh, Pa…played
football for his stepfather and former Penn State wide receiver Terry Smith at
Gateway High in Pittsburgh…as a senior, rated the nation’s top cornerback and
top player in Pennsylvania, playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and being
named the 2004 Gatorade Pennsylvania Player of the Year…during career at
Gateway, rushed 544 times for 4,519 yards, the third-highest total in District 7
Class AAAA history, and scored 59 touchdowns.
