2008 SEASON: Played in nine games with one start…inactive for seven games…Week 2 vs. New York Giants (9/14): Made NFL debut on special teams...Week 17 at Atlanta (12/28): Earned first NFL start at right guard…part of an offensive line that opened holes for RB Steven Jackson to gain a season-high 161 yards with two touchdowns...second-highest rushing total of Jackson’s career.

Three-time All-Mid American Conference selection (sophomore, junior and senior seasons)…started 49 consecutive games, including his last 36 at left tackle…blocking efforts helped the Rockets lead the MAC in rushing (208.5 yards per game) and total offense (447.8 yards per game) during senior season…as a sophomore, took over left tackle position after graduation of Nick Kaczur, now a starter with the New England Patriots…started all 13 games at right tackle as a freshman and earned Norman Cohen Award, given to the team’s top freshman…marketing major.

Born John Patrick Greco…first-team All-Conference and second-team All-Region honoree as a senior at Boardman High in Youngstown, Ohio…added second-team All-Conference honors as a junior…lettered one season in basketball.
