2006 SEASON: Started all 16 games at quarterback for the Rams and earned
second career Pro Bowl selection…finished season with 370 completions on 588
attempts (62.9 completion percentage) for a career-high 4,301 yards and 24
touchdowns with eight interceptions…posted 92.9 passer rating…4,301 passing
yards mark the fourth-best single season passing performance in team history, and
moved Bulger into third place on the Rams’ all-time passing list…370 completions and 588
attempts were the most for a single season in Rams history…1.4 interception percentage was
best single-season mark in team annals…Bulger finished second in the NFL in completions, second
in the NFC (third in NFL) in yards, tied for second in NFC (tied for fourth in NFL) in touchdowns,
third in the NFL in attempts, third in the NFC (eighth in NFL) in completion percentage,
fourth in NFC (ninth in NFL) with 7.31 average gain and fourth in NFC (seventh in the NFL) in passer

end vs. Seattle 10/15, when he was intercepted by linebacker Lofa Tatupu in the fourth quarter…
finished game with 360 yards passing and three touchdowns, including career-long 67-yard

performance, Bulger established a career-best six consecutive games with a passer rating of
100.0 or better.
• 142 passing yards at Carolina 11/19 allowed Bulger to pass Kurt Warner for third all-time in
Rams history for passing yards with 14,589 yards.
• Earned 10th career regular season come-from-behind victory in the fourth quarter or overtime
vs. San Francisco 11/26…completed nine of nine pass attempts for 66 yards on final drive,
including a 5-yard touchdown to WR Kevin Curtis with 0:27 left in the game to earn a 20-17
victory.
• Topped 15,000 career passing yards vs. Arizona 12/3…reached mark in 56 games, tying him
with Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino and former Ram Kurt Warner as the fastest quarterbacks
to reach 15,000 career passing yards.
• Tied a career high with four touchdown passes vs. Washington 12/24 and established a careerhigh
with passer rating of 134.5…completed 25 of 38 passes for 388 yards, giving him his 23rd
career 300-yard passing game…388 passing yards marked Bulger’s season high.

2005 SEASON: Finished first in NFC (third in NFL) in average gain (8.00), first in NFC (fourth
in NFL) in completion percentage (66.9), and second in NFC (fifth in NFL) in passer rating (94.4).
• Completed 18 of 29 passes for 216 yards with one touchdown and one interception at Arizona
9/18, passing 10,000-yard career passing mark…tied Hall of Famer Dan Marino for the secondfastest
quarterback to reach that mark.
• Completed 21 of 28 passes for 292 yards with three touchdowns and one interception for a
128.9 passer rating vs. Tennessee 9/25.
• Established franchise records in attempts (62) and completions (40) for NFL-leading 442 yards
with two touchdowns and three interceptions at New York Giants 10/2…performance marked
franchise-record fourth 400-yard game.
• Completed six of eight attempts for 121 yards and one touchdown for a perfect 158.3 passer
rating before suffering a shoulder injury at Indianapolis 10/17…did not return to game.
• Returned in Week 10 to complete 28 of 40 passes for 304 yards with one touchdown and one

• Surpassed the 1,500 pass attempts mark vs. Arizona 11/20, qualifying him for NFL’s all-time

2004 SEASON: Earned Daniel F. Reeves Memorial Award for Rams MVP as voted on by teammates…
66.2 completion percentage was second-highest single-season total in Rams’ history…
3,964 yards was fifth-best single-season total in Rams’ history, tying Jim Everett’s 1988 season,
despite missing nearly three full games…third in NFC in completions (fifth in NFL), completion
percentage (sixth in NFL), yards (sixth in NFL), average gain (8.17, sixth in NFL), and fourth
quarter passer rating (90.9, sixth in NFL); fourth in NFC in passer rating (eighth in NFL); sixth in
NFC in third-down passer rating (89.1, 10th in NFL); tied for sixth in NFC in touchdowns (tied for
12th in NFL).
• Led Rams to a historic 33-27 comeback victory at Seattle 10/10, completing 24 of 42 passes
for 325 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions, also rushing four times for 9
yards, with a 9-yard touchdown run…on Rams’ last four drives against the Seahawks, completed
10 of 16 pass attempts for 202 yards with three touchdowns, also leading the Rams on field
goal drive…comeback was greatest comeback in franchise history, in terms of points down (27-
10) and time left (5:43).
• Passed for 448 yards (most ever vs. Packers) on 35-of-53 passing with two touchdowns and
one interception for 97.1 passer rating at Green Bay 11/29.
• Completed three of first four attempts vs. San Francisco 12/5 before leaving game with shoulder
injury…injury forced him to miss next two games (at Carolina 12/12 and at Arizona 12/19)
• Returned to lineup vs. Philadelphia 12/27 to complete 20 of 27 passes for 225 yards with one
touchdown for a 110.9 passer rating.
• In regular season finale vs. New York Jets 1/2/05, completed 29 of 39 passes for season-high
450 yards (Rams’ record third career 400-yard game) with three touchdowns and two interceptions
for season-high 116.4 passer rating to lead Rams back from 26-21 deficit with 5:06
left in the game to a 32-29 overtime win.
• Completed 18 of 32 passes for 313 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for a 97.5
passer rating in NFC Wildcard Game at Seattle 1/8/05…led Rams back from 20-17 deficit with
8:07 left to win first career playoff game, 27-20…during comeback, led Rams on scoring drives
on all three Rams’ second half possessions, two field goal drives and game-winning touchdown
drive, going nine-for-13 for 126 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.
• Completed 23 of 35 pass attempts for 299 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for
a 99.6 passer rating at Atlanta 1/15/05 in NFC Divisional Playoff Game.

2003 SEASON: Led Rams to NFC West Championship, earning first Pro Bowl
invitation…was second in NFC and NFL in completions, third in NFC and fifth in NFL
in completion percentage, led NFC and was third in NFL in passing yards, was third
in NFC and tied for sixth in NFL in average gain (7.34 yards), was sixth in NFC in
touchdown passes, third in NFC and fourth in NFL in third-down passer rating, and
sixth in NFC in passer rating…led Rams to pair of winning streaks (four and seven games)…had
four 300-yard passing games, including 22 of 37 performance for season-high 375 yards and one
touchdown in homecoming at Pittsburgh 10/26…led Rams to four come-from-behind victories.
• Completed 27 of 46 passes for 332 yards with three interceptions in NFC Divisional Playoff
Game vs. Carolina 1/10/04.
• Completed 12 of 21 passes for 152 yards with a Pro Bowl record four touchdowns and one interception
in Pro Bowl 2/8/04, earning MVP honors, first Ram to earn such honor.

2002 SEASON: Had impressive year as he saw first NFL action…earned Daniel F. Reeves
Memorial Award for team MVP as voted on by teammates…won first six NFL starts, with two
comebacks…winning first six NFL starts tied him for fourth with Kurt Warner (1999) and Mike
Kruczek (1976) for most consecutive wins to start a career since 1970.
• Made first NFL start vs. Oakland 10/13, completing 14 of 21 passes for 186 yards, three touchdowns,
and one rushing touchdown…earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for performance
against previously undefeated Raiders.
• Had historic game vs. San Diego 11/10 in completing 36 of 48 passes for 453 yards (fourthbest
total in Rams history) with four touchdowns and no interceptions for 131.7 passer rating
(all career-highs).
• 1,496 passing yards in first five starts was best in NFL history for QB’s first five starts, surpassing
Cincinnati’s Jeff Blake in 1994.
• Suffered hand injury against Chicago 11/18 that forced him to sit out next three games before
returning to action vs. Arizona 12/15, completing 24 of 40 passes for 319 yards with two touchdowns
and two interceptions
• Completed only pass attempt of game for 11 yards at Seattle 12/22 before leaving game with
neck and back injuries, forcing him to miss season finale.
