The St. Louis Rams will host the San Francisco 49ers for Thursday Night Football tomorrow at 7:25 p.m. The doors to the Edward Jones Dome will open at 5:55 p.m. A limited number of tickets remain, and can be purchased at www.stlouisrams.com/tickets, by calling 314-RAMS-TIX or at the Edward Jones Dome box office starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The game, which is sponsored by Charter, will air on the NFL Network and KPLR 11 in St. Louis. The game will also be broadcast on 101 ESPN. Below are some of the highlights taking place:
Rams Welcome Legends
Throughout the game, the Rams will recognize alumni who have been instrumental in shaping the Rams history. The following legends, who played between 1957 and 2008, are scheduled to attend: Jon Arnett, Lester Josephson, Maxie Baughan, Tom Mack, Roger Brown, Isiah Robertson, Willie Ellison, Jim Youngblood, Cody Jones, Dennis Harrah, Monte Jackson, Jackie Slater, Kent Hill, LeRoy Irvin, Eric Dickerson, Jim Everett, Aeneas Williams, D’Marco Farr, Isaac Bruce, Orlando Pace, Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk and Torry Holt. Combined, these 23 alumni have appeared in more than 80 NFL Pro Bowls.
Prior to the Rams vs. 49ers primetime contest, the Rams will also host Celebrate Primetime with Rams Legends in the Ferrara Theater, located in America’s Center, at 4 p.m. Admission for the event is free for season ticket holders or $20 for non-season ticket holders. Limited tickets are available for purchase at ticketmaster.com. All attendees must pre-register.
All Fans to Receive #RamsPrimetime T-Shirt
All fans in attendance will receive a white #RamsPrimetime T-shirt presented by Charter, YP and Barnes-Jewish Hospital & Washington University Orthopedics. In addition, the Rams will be wearing all white uniforms for the game.
St. Louis Rams Official Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park
The Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park is located on Broadway directly across from the Edward Jones Dome. Country artist David Nail, who currently has a chart-topping hit “Whatever She’s Got,” will take the stage Thursday at 5 p.m. The concert is presented by WIL 92.3. Fans can also enjoy appearances from Rams Cheerleaders and reduced pricing on food and beverages as well as an interactive kids’ corner. 100 percent of proceeds from the Destination Dessert Truck stationed at Baer Park will benefit the Center for Head Injuries and Autism. Baer Park will also feature a mobile team store where Rams merchandise will be available for purchase, including NFL-approved all-clear Rams Tote bags.
The tailgate party will extend to the McGuire lot located north of the Edward Jones Dome and the Trailway’s lot located at Broadway and Lucas. Rams partners Russo’s Catering and Sub Zero will be offering on-site vending of their products at the McGuire lot and Trailway’s lot respectively and Bud Light Build A Bar will be offering reduced price beer specials at all three lots.
Rams Celebrate Hispanic Heritage
As part of the NFL Hispanic Heritage Month initiative, the Rams will honor Guillermo Rodriguez as their 2013 Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award Winner. Rodriguez serves as director of international projects in the office of study abroad for Webster University and is active with several community efforts. Rodriguez will be recognized during pregame and a $2,000 donation to the Hispanic Educational, Cultural and Scholarship Fund will be made on his behalf.
