Need to Know: Brown has plenty of connections to the Rams. He is from the same town as wide receiver
He Said It:
“I go 100 percent from the time the ball is snapped until the referee blows the whistle. I’m giving 110 percent in between the lines, just trying to go out there and succeed.” – Brown on his playing style.
They Said It:
“He’s an explosive player, two year starter there at Hawaii. He was a J.C. guy, Saddleback Junior College, very explosive. He’s a little over six feet, 235 pounds. He runs well, tackles well, tough guy. I mean, real tough guy. That’s the kind of guy that you think has a chance to fill in at a linebacker spot. Worst case scenario where we’re picking, he sounds like a premier special teams fit.” – Coach Jeff Fisher on Brown.
“He’s a tough guy, very urgent, very good as a special teamer, looks like a core special teamer. Our numbers at linebacker were down so he’s going to add depth and we’ll go from there.” – GM Les Snead
Outlook: The Rams have an opening for help at outside linebacker and Brown figures to at least compete for a job flanking
