The Rams helped fortify their depth on the offensive line Monday, as they agreed to terms with guard/tackle
Williams, who was the 14th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, was released by Chicago on Oct. 16 of last year after playing in 50 games with 38 starts in his four-plus seasons there.
The Rams signed Williams on Oct. 22 and his first week with the team actually came in London as they prepared for their game there against the Patriots.
Williams played in that game as well as the final two games of the season against Tampa Bay and Seattle following the triceps injury to starting right guard

In bringing Williams back, the Rams retain a versatile player capable of playing four positions on the offensive line. Among his 38 career starts, he’s opened 20 games at left guard, 11 at right tackle and seven at left tackle as well as a pair of preseason games at left guard.
