Michelle's Pro Bowl Diary: NFL Welcome Event

Follow Pro Bowl Cheerleader Michelle as She Tours Through Hawaii

Today, we had our first practice at Aloha Stadium. We rehearsed the routine we will be performing with Train on the beautiful, custom made stage. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain. It was definitely a change from the Edward Jones Dome, we have the luxury of a climate controlled environment. Despite the unfortunate weather, however, it’s still wonderful to be in Hawaii and the rain was actually pretty enjoyable mixed in with the Hawaiian heat.

After practice, my line had a few hours of free time. Since it was raining, the beach was, sadly, out of the picture. My roommate, the Buccaneer’s cheerleader, and I decided to look around the shops near our hotel for some souvenirs. We weren't very successful, but I loved seeing the Hawaiian jewelry and dresses.

The next item on the agenda was an appearance with my line, and some of the mascots at a NFL welcome event. We had the chance to meet some pretty interesting people, and I even met a few Rams fans. Our very own Rams alum Eric Dickerson also made an appearance.

Our night ended with a fun dinner at Dave and Buster’s. The cheerleader from the Saints brought everyone dessert, in the form of a King Cake in honor of the upcoming Mardi Gras. Unfortunately, I did not find the traditional good luck baby, but it was still delicious.

I have most of the day off tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited to see the beach for the first time since I've been here.

Mahalo!

Michelle
