Posted Sep 20, 2013

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, tight end Jared Cook will be serving at the honorary chair for the Spare Nothing for the Cure with Susan G. Komen St. Louis.

The 5th annual Spare Nothing for the Cure is a fun afternoon of bowling October 27 at two different area locations: Brunswick Zone in Chesterfield from 12-2 p.m. and Brunswick Zone XL in St. Charles from 3-5 p.m. Participants will receive two hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental, a T-Shirt and the chance to win fun door prizes, with proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen St. Louis.  For more information and to sign up, please visit www.komenstlouis.org/SpareNothing. Breast cancer is a cause close to Jared’s heart as him mother Yulinda is a breast cancer survivor. Jared and Yulinda shared their story at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this summer, where Jared served as the Rams team captain.

In conjunction with the campaign, the St. Louis Rams are selling tickets to their Breast Cancer Awareness game against the Jacksonville Jaguars October 6 at a discounted price of $40. $5 from each ticket will go towards Susan G. Komen St. Louis. Fans who purchase these tickets will then have the opportunity to attend a special meet and greet with Jared following the game.  Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.stlouisrams.com/cure.
