WEEK 6 – Tom Beauchamp, Lindbergh High School
The Lindbergh Flyers used an impressive 21-point fourth quarter to overcome the Eureka Wildcats on the road. Tied at 21 entering the fourth quarter, the Flyers pushed their way to a 42-28 victory and a 5-1 record.
Head coach Tom Beauchamp called on his quarterback Peter Simpson all night long and he provided plenty of highlights. The signal caller was 16-for-30 through the air for 458 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 48 yards on ten carries.
The Lindbergh High School football team will receive a $1,000 grant from the NFL Youth Football Fund on behalf of Coach Beauchamp’s efforts as the Rams High School Coach of the week.
