WEEK 9 – Scott Eacret, Fort Zumwalt East
The Fort Zumwalt East Lions scored three touchdowns in the first quarter against Timberland and never looked back en route to a 52-36 victory. The Lions improved to 9-0 on the season.
Head Coach Scott Eacret’s quarterback Marvin Byrd III led the Lion offense with 183 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He also threw for 191 yards and a touchdown pass to Mike Mahoney. Christian Brooks added 111 yards on the ground.
The Fort Zumwalt East High School football team will receive a $1,000 grant from the NFL Youth Football Fund on behalf of Coach Eacret’s efforts as the Rams High School Coach of the week.
