Week 1 – Robert Battle, University City High School
The University City Lions opened the 2010 season under first year head coach Robert Battle and came out roaring. Running back Branden Walker scored six touchdowns, leading his team to a 50-22 victory over Parkway West.
The University City Lions football team will receive a $1,000 grant from the NFL Youth Football Fund on behalf of Coach Battle’s efforts as the Rams High School Coach of the week.
