The St. Louis Rams will kickoff the 2013 season at home on Sunday versus the division rival Arizona Cardinals at 3:25 p.m. A limited number of tickets remain, and can be purchased at www.stlouisrams.com/tickets, by calling 314-RAMS-TIX or at the Edward Jones Dome box office starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday. The game will air on KTVI-FOX 2 in St. Louis. The game will also be broadcast on 101 ESPN.

St. Louis Rams Welcome Family of Hall of Famer Deacon Jones
Deacon Jones’ wife Elizabeth, son Greg Pinto and grandson Noah Pinto will be recognized on the field during the first quarter as the team celebrates the life of Hall of Famer Deacon Jones, who passed away earlier this summer. In honor of Jones, the Rams will wear a number 75 decal on their helmets for the 2013 season. Additionally, the NFL has announced that they will present the Deacon Jones Award to the league leader in sacks at the conclusion of each season. Jones was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. In 2009, the Rams retired the number 75 to forever recognize Jones’ accomplishments.
All Fans to Receive United Way Rally Towel presented by Edward Jones, Famous Footwear/Brown Shoe Company and Centene Corporation
All fans in attendance will receive a blue Rams rally towel, presented by Edward Jones, Famous Footwear/Brown Shoe Company and Centene Corporation, to celebrate the start of the 2013 season as well as the kickoff of the United Way of Greater St. Louis campaign. United Way representatives will also join alongside Edward Jones and Brown Shoe Company representatives to unfurl a field-sized American flag during the singing of the National Anthem, which will be performed by retired U.S. Navy officer, Generald Wilson. The colors will be presented by the Saint Louis University ROTC Detachment 207. Fans can also join the Rams in their support of United Way of Greater St. Louis by adding a dollar to any concession stand transaction at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday.
Rams Enhance Fan Experience at Edward Jones Dome
Fans attending games at the Edward Jones Dome this season will continue to see a variety of fan enhancements, discounted concessions and expanded menu offerings as well as promotional items for select games.
The Rams Official Team Store, located on the 100-level concourse near section 152 features apparel and merchandise, including a dedicated women’s wall and collections from Nike, New Era, Mitchell & Ness and new for the 2013 season, apparel from Nike Golf, Junk Food and Touch by Alyssa Milano. Also debuting this season is a ’47 Brand store located at section 126. Additionally, the Rams will offer a special value-priced $10 t-shirt at concession stands throughout the Edward Jones Dome.
In an effort to continue the youth fan experience, the Dream Play Recreation Play System located outside section 154 in the Charter Red Zone Lounge will again be available throughout the 2013 season. The Play System is equipped with two 90-degree enclosed tube slides, an access ramp and ladder. To ensure fan safety, the Rams constructed the Play System on 3 3/4” thick safety tiles.
The Rams will also continue to offer the lowest priced beer of all local professional sports teams with a 12 oz. draught available for only $5. Discounted pricing extends to pizza, bottled beverages and an assortment of other food and drinks including $5 bottled water, soda and Gatorade in addition to a $7 bottomless soda. The Rams will also feature a Kids Meal at Section 104, which includes a hot dog, chips, juice and toy for just $5.
Additionally, many healthy options will be available at concession stands throughout the Edward Jones Dome in 2013. These items include the Time Out Turkey Sandwich, gluten-free Summer Salad and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and Pretzel Chips at the end zone concession stands.
New 2013 Bag Policy
To provide a safer environment for the public and expedite fan entry into stadiums, the National Football League has implemented a new league-wide bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into all NFL stadiums, including the Edward Jones Dome. While the NFL strongly encourages fans to not bring any type of bags, outlined below are the bags or packages that are permissible:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.”
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.”
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

Portion of Broadway to Close
Also for public safety purposes, Broadway between Cole Street and Convention Plaza will be closed two hours and 30 minutes prior to all Rams games and one hour after the conclusion of the game. Please note: the process to begin closing the Broadway exits off I-70 Eastbound will begin upwards to three hours and 30 minutes prior to game time to ensure that the Broadway exits are closed by two hours and 45 minutes prior to kickoff. I-70 Eastbound traffic headed downtown will exit at Pine.
Drop-off along Broadway for guests with disabilities will be available by exiting at Pine and then making a right turn on 4th Street. Fans will proceed to Biddle and turn left, continue to Broadway and turn left and continue to the intersection of Broadway and Cole where security personnel will be available to assist.
The portion of Broadway being closed is in addition to the closures that normally occur four hours prior to game time around the perimeter of the Edward Jones Dome on Cole Street and Convention Plaza.
Rams Players Purchase Record-Number of Season Tickets for Local Charities
A record-number 32 players have purchased season tickets for local charities and school groups to attend 2013 Rams’ home games. Players participating in the “Rams’ All-Community Team” ticket donation program include:
St. Louis Rams Official Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park
The Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park is located on Broadway directly across from the Edward Jones Dome. Every 2013 home game will feature one of St. Louis’ top bands beginning this Sunday at 12 p.m. when That 80’s Band takes the stage. Fans can also enjoy appearances from Rams Cheerleaders and reduced pricing on food and beverages as well as an interactive kids’ corner. 100 percent of proceeds from the Destination Dessert Truck stationed at Baer Park will benefit the Center for Head Injuries and Autism. Baer Park will also feature a mobile team store where Rams merchandise will be available for purchase, including NFL-approved all-clear Rams Tote bags.
The tailgate party will extend to the McGuire lot located north of the Edward Jones Dome and the Trailway’s lot located at Broadway and Lucas. Rams partners Russo’s Catering and Sub Zero will be offering on-site vending of their products at the McGuire lot and Trailway’s lot respectively and Bud Light Build A Bar will be offering reduced price beer specials at all three lots.
The Fun Continues in the Bud Light Party Zone
Fans looking to enter the Edward Jones Dome early can enjoy the Bud Light Party Zone – the largest sports bar in St. Louis, which is available to all ticket holders. For early admittance to the Bud Light Party Zone, fans can enter gate C beginning at 1:25 p.m. All gates will open at 1:55 p.m.
