The St. Louis Rams will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at 12 p.m. The doors to the Edward Jones Dome will open at 10:30 a.m. A limited number of tickets remain, and can be purchased at www.stlouisrams.com/tickets, by calling 314-RAMS-TIX or at the Edward Jones Dome box office starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The game, which is sponsored by 7UP TEN, will air on CBS-KMOV Channel 4 in St. Louis. The game will also be broadcast on 101 ESPN. Below are some of the highlights taking place:

Rams Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness

As part of the NFL’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, “A Crucial Catch,” Sunday’s game will serve as the Rams’ designated breast cancer awareness game.  The Rams will partner with Zeta Tau Alpha to pass out pink ribbons to fans as they enter the Edward Jones Dome. The team, in partnership with 7UP TEN, has also identified 50 St. Louisans who have fought or are currently fighting breast cancer to form the “Schnucks Survivor Tunnel presented by 7UP TEN” that the players will run through during team introductions.  7UP TEN has also provided additional tickets for breast cancer survivors to attend Sunday’s game.

At halftime, the Rams current cheerleaders will join with alumni cheerleaders and junior cheerleaders for a performance called, “Cheer for a Cure.” As part of their involvement in “A Crucial Catch,” American Cancer Society will be providing 50 volunteers to unfurl a large pink ribbon during the halftime show. An additional 150 representatives from Maritz, Ameren Missouri and Express Scripts, some of whom are survivors, will join in the halftime performance. The proceeds from the “Cheer for a Cure” halftime performance will benefit American Cancer Society.  The team has also pledged an additional $1,000 to American Cancer Society for every Rams’ reception during the game.

In support of breast cancer awareness, Levy Restaurants has donated breakfast for survivors and volunteers participating in the pregame and halftime performances. Throughout the game, breast cancer-related messages from Rams players and cheerleaders will be shown on the video boards.  In addition to select players and coaches wearing pink game apparel, fans will notice on-field pink ribbon stencils, special game balls with pink ribbon decals, pink goal post wraps and “A Crucial Catch” wall banners.  Game-worn pink merchandise and footballs will be autographed post-game and auctioned at www.nfl.com/auction. All NFL Auction proceeds from the sale of breast cancer awareness items during the month of October will benefit American Cancer Society.

First 15,000 Fans in Attendance to Receive Jake Long Figurine
The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a detailed Jake Long figurine presented by 7UP TEN. This is the first of two Long vs. Long figurine series giveaways. The second giveaway, featuring a detailed Chris Long figurine, will be available to the first 15,000 fans during the December 22 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

St. Louis Rams Official Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park

The Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park is located on Broadway directly across from the Edward Jones Dome. Every 2013 home game will feature one of St. Louis’ top bands beginning this Sunday at 9 a.m. when St. Louis’ own Kim Massie takes the stage. Fans can also enjoy appearances from Rams Cheerleaders and reduced pricing on food and beverages as well as an interactive kids’ corner. 100 percent of proceeds from the Destination Dessert Truck stationed at Baer Park will benefit the Center for Head Injuries and Autism. Baer Park will also feature a mobile team store where Rams merchandise will be available for purchase, including NFL-approved all-clear Rams Tote bags.

The tailgate party will extend to the McGuire lot located north of the Edward Jones Dome and the Trailway’s lot located at Broadway and Lucas. Rams partners Russo’s Catering and Sub Zero will be offering on-site vending of their products at the McGuire lot and Trailway’s lot respectively and Bud Light Build A Bar will be offering reduced price beer specials at all three lots.
