The first 15,000 fans to enter the Edward Jones Dome will receive a detailed Jake Long figurine presented by Unequal Technologies. This is the second of two Long vs. Long figurine series giveaways. The first giveaway, featuring a detailed Jake Long figurine, was available to the first 15,000 fans during the October 6 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Rams to Welcome Home Hall of Famer Jackie Slater
As part of Rams Legends and the NFL’s Homecoming efforts, the Rams will welcome back offensive tackle Jackie Slater. Enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001, Slater played his entire 20 year career with the Rams. He was a seven time Pro Bowl selection.

Rams to Honor Outstanding Volunteers
The Rams will honor the winners of the 2013 Georgia Frontiere Community Quarterback Award during a pregame ceremony. The award, which is presented by GFI Digital, recognizes four outstanding individuals for their volunteer efforts in the community. Originally known as the Community Quarterback Award, the Rams renamed the award in honor of their late owner and chairperson, Georgia Frontiere. Since the program’s inception in 2000, the Rams have donated over $270,000 to local charities through this initiative.

Rams to Recognize High School Coaches of the Week
As part of the Rams commitment to youth football, during the season, the Rams selected ten National Guard High School Games of the Week and the winning coach of each respective game was named the Rams High School Coach of the Week presented by Charter.  Each winning coach received a $2,000 grant for their program from the Rams and Charter.  The High School Coach of the Year was selected by a panel from the National Football Foundation – St. Louis Tom Lombardo Chapter and the High School Sports Caravan.  His program received a $5,000 grant from the Rams and Charter.  The winning coaches will be introduced during a pregame ceremony.

Rams to Participate in American Cancer Society’s “Suits and Sneakers” Corporate Challenge
For Sunday’s Fan Appreciation Game, the Rams staff will be wearing tennis shoes with their suit or game day attire. The effort is an extension of the American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer platform and specifically the “Suits and Sneakers” program that encourages people to trade in their dress shoes for sneakers to bring awareness to the fight against cancer.  The American Cancer  Society believes wearing sneakers is a simple way to spotlight the fact that cancer is the second most common cause of death in the United States— exceeded only by heart disease, accounting for nearly 1 of every 4 deaths—and remind people about all the ways they can reduce their risk of cancer; like eating right, exercising, making healthy lifestyle choices and following the Society’s recommended cancer screening guidelines. Corporations and individuals are encouraged to join the Rams in the fight against cancer by hosting their own “Wear Your Sneakers to Work Day.” Fans can also text the word COACH to 20222 and $5 will be donated to Coaches vs. Cancer.
