ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Rams have launched a new and improved mobile app that is available for free on all iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and BlackBerry devices.

The Rams Mobile app features access to real-time Rams news, exclusive video on-demand clips with player and coach interviews, injury reports, an interactive depth chart, standings, scores an aggregated Twitter feed with real-time updates from fans and the team, a fantasy football tracker, one-click social media sharing of all photos/news/podcasts, game schedules and more.

In addition, fans attending Rams home games at the Edward Jones Dome can access the app’s interactive map of the Edward Jones Dome, which displays the closest concession stands, retail stores and other amenities. It is the perfect gameday companion for die-hard Rams fans, as live team stats and news, as well as NFL scores and standings are available right at their fingertips.

Having the Rams Mobile app on their smartphones will give fans unprecedented access to daily news and information from the team, 365 days a year. The Rams believe it will particularly enhance the gameday experience for fans and are thrilled to make it available in time for the season’s home stretch.

“Our digital team has worked hard in conjunction with YinzCam to give our fans a richer user experience and a deeper connection to the Rams with this all new app,” said Brian Killingsworth, vice president of marketing and brand strategy, St. Louis Rams. “Our fans will now have access to all of our unique content across all platforms and mediums, in the palm of their hand all year-long”

The Rams partnered with YinzCam, Inc. to develop the team’s official smartphone app, which can be downloaded for free through the Apple App Store, Android Marketplace or BlackBerry App World. It is also available to download by scanning the below QR code.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with the St. Louis Rams to put the ultimate mobile fan experience into the hands of their fans,” said Priya Narasimhan, chief operating officer and founder, YinzCam. “The new Rams Mobile app has everything that a fan could want in order to be connected to the Rams 24/7, anytime, anywhere.”

In the near future, the Rams plan to expand the app’s capabilities for fans attending home games. The team hopes to allow fans at the Edward Jones Dome to view video replays on-demand and watch different camera angles through the app. Other plans on the horizon include a video board feature, enhanced cheerleader content and a stadium parking assistant.
