Austin Pettis to Host Fundraising Event for the Austin Pettis Foundation

Posted Jul 18, 2012

On Wednesday, July 25, Austin Pettis, wide receiver of the St. Louis Rams, will host a fundraising event for his foundation, the Austin Pettis Foundation, at Bocci Bar (16 North Central Avenue Clayton, MO 63105) in downtown Clayton from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.

The Austin Pettis Foundation was founded in 2012 by St. Louis Rams wide receiver Austin Pettis. The mission of Pettis’ foundation is to help broaden the life experiences of inner-city, underprivileged and disadvantaged youths by raising money so they may be able to attend various sports camps.

Due to reasons out of their control, many of the kids are unable to afford such programs. With assistance from the Austin Pettis Foundation, these kids are able to receive a complete package of training – for a variety of sports – that have a lasting impact on their lives. The Foundation seeks to provide a positive influence for boys and girls, and uses the camps to teach and illustrate important life lessons.

The event, which is presented by the Judge Group, will also benefit the Blues 14 Fund, the charitable trust of the St. Louis Blues.
You can attend this event by emailing event director, Sherrie Handrinos at EventsB1M@gmail.com as space is limited.  A minimum $25 donation is requested at the door.  A cash bar and appetizers will be provided by the Judge Group.
