PRESEASON TELEVISION BROADCAST PARTNER
KTVI-TV, FOX 2, will be the St. Louis Rams 2009 preseason television broadcast partner, the team announced.
KTVI-TV, Channel 2 in St. Louis, will broadcast each of the Rams’ four preseason contests, beginning with the August 14 preseason opener at the New York Jets, which will be available in high-definition.
“KTVI-TV continues to be a great partner, and they are a natural fit as the preseason home of the Rams,” said Rams Vice President of Football Operations/Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff. “KTVI shares our commitment to delivering Rams’ fans the best viewing experience, which is why we are particularly excited to join with them in offering preseason games in high-definition for the first time in franchise history.”
The preseason broadcast team will feature KTVI-TV sports director Martin Kilcoyne calling the play-by-play. Former Rams quarterback Trent Green and former Rams tight end Roland Williams will split color analyst duties. Green will work the August 14 game at the Jets and the August 21 game vs. Atlanta. Williams will work the August 27 contest at Cincinnati and the September 3 contest vs. Kansas City. KTVI-TV weekend sports anchor and reporter Maurice Drummond will serve as the sideline reporter.

Kilcoyne, is a six-time Emmy-Award winner (2006, 2008 Top Sportscaster in the Mid-America Region). The St. Louis native has been with KTVI-TV since 1997, and has been Sports Director since 2001. This is Kilcoyne's fourth year calling play-by-play for Rams preseason football.
Green joins the Rams preseason broadcasts for the first time this year. Recently retired, Green spent 15 seasons in the NFL including 1999-2000 and 2008 with the Rams. A two-time Pro Bowl selection (2003, 2005), Green also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins. Green finished his career with 28,475 passing yards and 162 touchdowns. Off the field, Green recently served as an in-studio guest analyst for the NFL Network and was a guest columnist for Peter King’s “Monday Morning Quarterback” column on SI.com.
Williams played eight seasons (1998-2005) in the NFL, including four seasons (1998-2000, 2005) with the Rams. Williams was a member of the 1999 Rams team that defeated the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV. Williams has received numerous awards for his charitable work off the field and has served as a studio analyst for college football programming on Versus.
Drummond is a veteran in the world of television sports with over 20 years of experience, including stops at ESPN and the Golf Channel. In addition to his Fox 2 duties, Drummond is also a radio personality at KFNS radio.
