Steve Savard – Play by Play Announcer
Steve Savard, a St. Louis native and former Dallas Cowboy player, has served as the “Voice of the Rams” since 2000.
Savard is an award-winning sportscaster who has earned six Emmy awards, including “Best Sportscaster” honors in 1999, 2001 and 2003. In 2003, Steve also earned a first-place Missouri Broadcasters Association sports award for a special program, "The Cardinals - A Team to Remember." His play-by-play work on the Rams Radio Network helped the Rams broadcasts earn "Air Awards" for the Best Sports Play-By-Play in St. Louis in 2000, 2001, and 2010.
Steve Savard is the lead sportscaster at KMOV-TV, the CBS affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri. He played football at both Parkway North High School in St. Louis County, and at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.
D’Marco Farr – Color Commentator
D’Marco Farr is a former NFL player with the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams. Wearing #75, Farr played defensive tackle for the Rams from 1994–2000 and recorded 36.5 career sacks. He was a member of the Rams team that won Super Bowl XXXIV. Farr was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Rams out of the University of Washington in 1994.
Farr had his best season in 1995 when he recorded 11.5 sacks and 1 interception. Farr also recorded 8.5 sacks in the Rams 1999 Super Bowl season. In college, he was a member of the undefeated 1991 University of Washington team that won the CNN/USA Today NCAA National Championship. Farr played high school football at John F. Kennedy High School in Richmond, California.
From 2005 until September 2007, Farr hosted the D'Marco Farr Show with Kevin Kiley on KSPN in Los Angeles. Farr is now a part of 101 ESPN’s afternoon drive program, “The Fast Lane”, with Chris Duncan and Randy Karraker.
Tony Softli – Sideline Reporter
101 ESPN’s NFL Insider/Reporter & On-Air Talent, Tony Softli is the St. Louis Rams Radio Sideline Reporter. After working as an NFL Analyst on Rams Radio in 2010, he was promoted to his current game day broadcast position.
As a former NFL Front Office Executive with fifteen years of personnel experience – including 4 with the St. Louis Rams organization – Tony Softli has evaluated both professional and collegiate players, and has organized and managed the complete personnel process from training camp to the Draft.
As the resident NFL “Insider”, Softli’s weekly contributions on the air and through his 101 ESPN blog informs and educates Sports/Talk radio listeners on all NFL and Rams topics. Tony offers his educated insight and complete analysis regarding Rams games and personnel situations as they arise.
Chris “Hoss” Neupert – Director and Executive Producer
For the past three seasons, Chris “Hoss” Neupert has been the Director and Executive Producer of the St. Louis Rams Radio Network with 101 ESPN. Neupert has spent the past 15 years in in leadership roles on Sports/Talk radio, with 101 ESPN and other St. Louis sports radio stations.
A St. Louis native, “Hoss” began his broadcasting career early with high school football games, and served as the color analyst and also as the sideline reporter for Washington University’s football program. Neupert played high school football and was a member of the track & field team for Oakville High School.
In addition to his Rams Radio Network duties, Chris “Hoss” Neupert was recently named the Assistant Program Director at 101 ESPN.
