RAMS RECIPES
 
 
In 2012, the Rams launched a new youth initiative, Rams ReciPEs, designed to increase awareness and interest among area youth in leading active and healthy lifestyles through nutritious eating and physical fitness. In collaboration with the NFL’s Fuel Up to PLAY 60 initiative and team sponsor Schnucks, the Rams ReciPEs program works to expose youth to healthy eating habits in a fun and engaging environment.
 

As part of the program, Rams players, as well as Rampage, visit local youth-serving organizations and schools to work side-by-side with children to prepare healthy, fun and quick snacks. The program includes a fitness segment where the children are reminded to be physically active at least 60 minutes every day. At the end of the program, each participating child is provided with a Rams ReciPEs cookbook that includes healthy recipes and PLAY 60 activities to do at home.
 
The Rams ReciPEs program is sponsored by Schnucks. Past program recipients include Brown Elementary, McCurdy Elementary, Monsanto YMCA and South City YMCA. For more information on Rams ReciPEs and how your school can get involved please email nwoodie@rams.nfl.com.
