FUEL UP to PLAY 60

Fuel Up to Play 60 is a nationwide movement focused on fighting childhood obesity by empowering kids to take control of their own health. It is a fun, interactive program that allows students and teachers to decide how to make their school an even better place. Students participate in fun challenges to earn prizes and recognition for their school, and can track their healthy eating and physical activity online to measure their success. Fuel Up to Play 60 was founded by the National Dairy Council© (NDC) and the NFL and is based on a mutual commitment to the health of the next generation. Fuel Up to Play 60 is your chance to make a commitment to healthy eating and 60 minutes of physical activity every day. For more information, please click here.

Score Grants or Prizes with Breakfast Blitz Program

Midwest Dairy Council has announced a new Fuel Up to Play 60 contest for local schools.

Fuel Up to Play 60 is hosting a Breakfast Blitz contest in an effort to give kids across the country greater access to a healthy breakfast. From now through February 17, participants can visit milkmustache.com and enter milk UPC codes for their chance to win one of 250 $1,000 Fuel Up to Play 60 grants for the school of their choice or other prizes, including a trip to Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. Grants awarded through the Breakfast Blitz contest will be used to support school breakfast programs.

Each time a participant purchases any size package of milk, he or she may enter the UPC code for the contest. The entries will be accumulated and entered into drawings for the grants and prizes. Extending the message to students and their parents will help increase the chances of a school being selected.
