By Nick Wagoner (4:30 p.m. Update) Rams Add Two More - The Rams announced the signings of two more players on Tuesday afternoon as they continue to fill out the roster for the offseason program and the early April mini-camp. - The latest additions are safety Craig Dahl and receiver Chad Lucas. - Dahl has some NFL experience, playing in nine games with two starts for the Giants in 2007 after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent. - Dahl missed the 2008 season after suffering a knee injury in the team’s third preseason game. - Lucas has spent time with Tampa Bay and Green Bay, playing in three regular season games. He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie with Tennessee. He has also played for the San Jose Saber Cats of the Arena Football League and the Amsterdam Admirals of the now-defunct NFL Europe. - Unlike many of the moves made Monday, it appears these players at least have some potential to stick because of their playing experience. It doesn’t hurt Dahl that he’s played for Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo, either. Lucas has good size at 6’1, 201 pounds. - Check out my story on Marc Bulger, who spoke to St. Louis media today about some of the changes going on with the Rams and the new offense. I’ll have more plus some stuff from cornerback Ron Bartell in my blog tomorrow as well as answers in the mailbag. - One other note, Rams general manager Billy Devaney is heading to Virginia for the Cavaliers pro day on Thursday to check out the prospects down there, including top tackle Eugene Monroe. - That’s it for today. Things
are likely to slow for a little bit later this week but will kick back into gear
sooner than later. The owners’ meetings are next week and the minicamp is the
following week. No rest for the weary around here.
