coach.
-Began his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks as strength and
conditioning coach (1995-1998).
-Had a distinguished collegiate coaching career prior to
entering the NFL as he spent 16 years as the head strength and conditioning
coach of his alma mater, the University of Texas (1977-1992) and two seasons at
the University of Miami (1993-1994).
-Inducted into the University of Texas Longhorn Hall of Honor
(1997).
-Studied at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education in
Moscow, Russia, in 1987.
-Was a two-time All-American in the shot put, winning the
National Collegiate Championship in 1976. His all-time best throw is 67 feet,
1/4 inch.
-A native of Tacoma, Washington, he is married to
Mary.
