-Began his coaching career with the Minnesota Vikings as a football systems analyst (2003-2004) and offensive quality control (2005).

-Interned in the Vikings’ public relations and research and development departments before being hired to the coaching staff.

-Worked on the staff of Eden Prairie High School, his alma mater, helping them to a Class 5A state title in 1999.

-During the summers, played quarterback for the Minnesota Maulers, a semi-pro football team (2000-2002).
 
-A native of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, he is married to Julie.
