-Joins the Rams after six seasons after six seasons with the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002-2005), including a Super Bowl championship in
2002.
-Broke into the NFL with the Buccaneers, serving the last four
seasons as the assistant head coach/running backs coach (2004-2007), tutoring
2005 Rookie of the Year Carnell Williams.
-Also held the position
of tight ends coach with Tampa Bay (2002-2003).
-Served minority coaching fellowships with three other NFL
teams, the Kansas City Chiefs (1994), the Buffalo Bills (1996) and the New York
Jets (1998), coaching under Marty Schottenheimer, Marv Levy and Bill Parcells,
respectively.
-Spent 22 seasons in the college ranks before joining the NFL,
breaking into coaching with his alma mater, Boise State, as the offensive line
coach (1981-1982).
-Has also coached the offensive line at Iowa State (1983), Long
Beach State (1984-1986) and New Mexico (1987-1989).
-Served as the offensive coordinator/assistant head coach for
the University of Idaho (1990-1994) and Utah State University (1995-1997) as
well as the assistant head coach/offensive line coach for Louisville (1998-2001)
all under head coach John L. Smith.
-Two-time letter-winning offensive lineman at Boise State
(1979-1980), he won an NCAA Division I-AA Championship with the Broncos in 1980.
-A native of La Mirada, California, he has two children,
daughter Kimberly and son Kyle, a student assistant coach at Florida
State.
