Joined the Rams as head coach Scott Linehan’s defensive line coach
in 2006.

Prior to joining the Rams, spent five seasons with the Minnesota
Vikings coaching the defensive line (2001, 2004-2005) and linebackers
(2002-2003).

Spent four seasons coaching the Detroit Lions’ defensive line
(1997-2000) after his first NFL coaching job as the San Diego Chargers defensive
line coach (1996).

Broke into coaching at his alma mater, the
University of
Maryland,
coaching outside linebackers (1984-1985).

Spent a year on the offensive side of the ball coaching the
fullbacks at Army (1986) before returning to defense, coaching the outside
linebackers at Georgia Tech from 1987-1994, adding the title of defensive
coordinator in 1995.
-
Played outside linebacker for the Terrapins from 1981-1983,
helping them to an undefeated season in the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1983.
- A native of Baltimore, Maryland, he and his
wife, Nevada, have three daughters, Nicole, Jade and Jasmine.
