Name: Scott Linehan

-Named the 22nd Head Coach in Rams history on January 19, 2006.

-Came to the Rams after one year as the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins (2005).

-Began NFL career as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach of the Minnesota Vikings (2002-2004).

-Held the same position with the University of Louisville (1999-2001), University of Washington (1996-1998) and his alma mater, the University of Idaho (1992-1993).

-Also held the title of wide receivers coach at the University of Washington. (1994-1995)

-Broke into the college coaching ranks as the wide receivers coach at Idaho (1989-1990)

-Played quarterback for the Idaho Vandals from 1982-1986, winning a Big Sky Championship in 1985 and leading his team to the NCAA playoffs in three straight seasons (1984-1986).

-Signed as a rookie free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 1987, but a shoulder injury ended his playing career.

-A native of Sunnyside, Washington, he is married to Kristen with three sons, Matthew, Michael and Marcus.
