Thursday, March 20, 2008

Click Here to Register for Dane Looker's Celebrity Golf Outing!

St. Louis Rams’ wide receiver Dane Looker will host a roster of sports celebrities for the KidTalk Celebrity Golf Outing on Monday, June 9, 2008 at Stonewolf Golf Club in Fairview Heights, Ill.  Proceeds from the event will benefit The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders.

Sponsorships for the private event range from $250 to $25,000 and include various amenities at each level.  Space is limited for the event that is closed to the public.

The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders is a non-profit 501(c) (3) charity organization whose purpose is to provide long-term professional treatment to children ages two to six with speech and language disorders at no cost to their families. The WSR Clinic was founded in 1988 by the Scottish Rite Masons with the main office being located within the Scottish Rite Cathedral near the intersection of Grand and Olive Blvd in St. Louis. The WSR Clinic has been a valuable resource for parents of children with speech and language disorders for over nineteen years. Services include screenings, evaluations, individual and group therapy, audiological evaluations, and parent training. All services are provided absolutely free.

The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start and will feature a scramble format where each foursome will have the chance to play with a celebrity.  Select holes will feature prizes including hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin.  A dinner, auction and awards ceremony will take place immediately following the event.  Many unique experiences and one-a-kind memorabilia will be featured in the auction.  Some of the highlighted items include game-worn shoes items from Rams’ players, tickets and pregame field passes to a Rams’ game, a luxurious trip to Cabo San Lucas and many more.
