St. Louis Rams Pro Bowl quarterback Marc Bulger will be going for more than six points as he aims for the end zone this year. For every touchdown pass he throws during the NFL regular season, Bulger will donate $1000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro St. Louis. Last year, Bulger threw 24 touchdown passes. The “Touchdowns For Wishes” pledge was the quarterback’s idea. "Make-A-Wish is a great organization because it makes wishes come true for children here in Missouri as well as across the country," explains Bulger. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 who are battling life-threatening medical conditions. Marc Bulger’s touchdown pledge is his latest effort to help raise money for Make-A-Wish. On Monday, September 17th, Bulger will for the second straight year host the Celebrity Server dinner at Fleming’s Prime Steak House & Wine Bar. Marc and several Rams teammates will serve meals, entertain customers and collect donations for Make-A-Wish. People can still become a Celebrity Server sponsor or reserve a table by calling 314-918-WISH. Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro St. Louis CEO Sandra Lehrer says Bulger’s continued support is huge boost for the non-profit organization. “Marc is so much more than a great quarterback. He is a terrific person who leads our community by example, on and off the field. We are so pleased that Marc wants to help us share the power of a wish,” says Lehrer. For more information about making a donation to Make-A-Wish, becoming a volunteer or to refer a child to Make-A-Wish, call 314-918-WISH or contact us at info@stlouis.wish.org. ---
