On expectations on where he might be drafted:  “This is about where I expected to be drafted.  Anywhere from the third or fourth round.  I’m just excited.  St. Louis is going to be a great place.  I’m so excited to play for the Rams.  I’m blessed by God right now and I am real excited.”

On playing against Rams’ first round pick Steven Jackson:  “He is a great running back.  He is a big, powerful strong guy.  He runs hard and I have a lot of respect for him.”

On playing inside linebacker at UCLA:  “I played outside my first two years and played inside linebacker my senior year.”

On bulking up in the offseason:  “I bulked up a little after the Shrine Game.  I had to go back down to my regular weight, but I feel better at my regular weight.”

On rushing the quarterback at UCLA:  “I did my first three years I did.  My senior year, I was more of a cover linebacker.”
