Well-built athlete who was a quarterback and safety in high school, but rapidly grew to defensive end size upon his arrival on Tech's campus … Regarded as one of the finest pass rushers in the South, he saw his career come to an abrupt end when he was declared academically ineligible for the 2003 season … Rather than return to school in 2004, Hargrove decided to teats his wares in the National Football League … Started 13 of 24 games for the Yellow Jackets, recording 70 tackles (36 solos) with six sacks for minus-31 yards, 19 stops for losses of 58 yards, two forced fumbles, a pair of fumble recoveries and three pass deflections.
