2007 SEASON: Played four games with one start…finished season with eight catches for 101 yards…served as inactive third quarterback for nine games and was inactive for three
others…also returned one punt for no gain and seven kickoffs for 130 yards.
• Made NFL debut in Week 5 vs. Arizona 10/7…saw time at wide receiver, registering first career reception on 11-yard pass from Gus Frerotte…also added one kickoff return for 20 yards.
• Led Rams receivers with five catches for 74 yards in his first NFL start in Week 6 at Baltimore 10/14…also saw action at quarterback, lining up under center in the final minute of the contest…did not attempt a pass.
• Served as primary kick returner in Week 14 at Cincinnati 12/9…returned six kickoffs for 110 yards (18.3-yard avg.) and one punt for no gain…added one fair catch.

2006 SEASON: Spent entire season on Rams practice squad.

  College Highlights:

• Played in 51 career games at Virginia, tying the school record for most games played…saw
action as a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, kick returner and cornerback.
• Started 26 games at quarterback, including final 24 games of his career…finished collegiate
career ranked in the top five in virtually every quarterback category in school history…second in completion percentage (62.3), third in completions (408), fourth in attempts (655) and total offense (5,779 yards) and fifth in passing yards (4,877).
• Spent first two seasons at Virginia as a backup quarterback and saw action in a variety of roles on offense, defense and special teams…two-year starter at quarterback, taking over duties in 2004 after the departure of Matt Schaub.
• Named team captain and ranked second in the Atlantic Coast Conference with an average of 233.5 yards of total offense per game as a senior in 2005…completed 213 of 343 passes for 2,492 yards with 14 touchdowns…ranked third on the team with 310 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 115 carries.
• Prepped one season at Fork Union Military Academy before attending Virginia.
• Graduated with a degree in anthropology.
