Chuck Faucette is in his second season as assistant strength coach with the Rams after making his NFL debut with the team in 2008.

Faucette came to the Rams after spending one season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Texas (2007), his second stint at the school after coaching at Texas from 1999-2000 in the same capacity.

Faucette spent six seasons (2001-06) as head strength and conditioning coach at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Faucette started at SMU after his first stint at the University of Texas. From 1995-98, he served as the boys' athletic director and head football coach at St. Pius X High School in Houston, Texas. He led his team to a 10-3 record and a state runner-up finish in 1998.

Chuck was out of football from 1993-94, attending graduate school in San Diego.

From 1990-92, he coached the linebackers and served as head strength coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

Faucette started his coaching career as the head football coach at Crawford High School in San Diego in 1989.

Faucette was a four-year starter at linebacker for Maryland from 1983-86 and was part of teams that won three consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference championships. Faucette was drafted by the New York Giants in 1987 and played for the San Diego Chargers from 1987-88.

He also spent two years as an outfielder in the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system after being drafted by the team as a senior in high school.

Faucette and his wife, Peggy Ann, have four daughters, Jenna, Juliann, Javoni and Jade.
