The Rams play their second consecutive home game this week, hosting the Atlanta Falcons at the Edward Jones Dome. This contest will mark the first time that the Rams have played Atlanta since the 2004 NFC Divisional Playoff and the first time that the Rams have hosted the Falcons since 2003.

The Rams have played the Falcons 73 times, leading the all-time series 46-25-2. The Rams have faced only San Francisco (117), Green Bay (89), Chicago (87) and Detroit (80) more than the Falcons. The Rams have had success against the Falcons. The 46 wins against the Falcons are the third most against one franchise in Rams’ history behind San Francisco (60) and Chicago (48). The Rams have shutout the Falcons six times.

The Rams and the Falcons met twice each year from 1967-69 as members of the Coastal Division of the Western Conference and then from 1970-2001 as members of the NFC West. After division re-alignment in 2002, the Rams and Falcons have met only three times, with the Falcons holding a 2-1 lead.

• WR Isaac Bruce (82) needs two receiving touchdowns to tie Mark Clayton (84), Irving Fryar (84), Tommy McDonald (84) and Andre Rison (84) for 13th place on the NFL’s all-time touchdown receptions list, while three receiving touchdowns would tie Lance Alworth (85) and Paul Warfield (85) for 11th place all-time.

• WR Isaac Bruce (13,880) needs 20 receiving yards to pass Cris Carter (13,899) for fifth place on the NFL’s all-time receiving yards list.
